From alpha to launch-ready
The Value App estimates complexity and service phases for construction projects and embeds directly into a website. The first version wasn't ours: we took over the codebase of ETH spinoff a r c experts AG in late 2025, with a clear mandate to close the gap between a promising app and a production-ready product.

What we built
Take over, then stabilise
We started with the unglamorous part: secrets management, continuous deployment, error monitoring, and reproducible environments across all four repositories. Since then, every change ships through the same pipeline and problems surface in monitoring instead of in demos.
Replacing the CMS mid-flight
The product was outgrowing the CMS it started on. We replaced it mid-flight with a content platform that models every calculation parameter, help text, and client-specific override, migrated the content, and kept the widget running while the foundation under it changed.
Features toward launch
Beyond hardening, the product kept moving: office-specific calculations for Swiss architecture firms, PDF exports, a closed alpha with real users, and integration examples showing clients how to embed the widget in their own website. We also launched test phases in Luxembourg and adapted and supported the product for operation there.
The results
Since the takeover, the platform has moved from demo state to a closed alpha with real users, running on monitored, continuously deployed infrastructure. The pace has held: over a thousand changes shipped in the first eight months, while the calculation logic kept growing.
