Full Stack Developer (all genders)

Purpur Lab is the AI and software development team of Purpur Ventures in Zug. We build digital products for our own ventures as well as for start-ups and SMEs, combining modern web development, technical consulting, and pragmatic delivery.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and extend modern web applications for internal projects and external clients across frontend and backend.
• Build backend logic with Node.js and TypeScript and design reliable data models with PostgreSQL.
• Create user-friendly interfaces with React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
• Plan and implement APIs and integrate external services and platforms.
• Clarify requirements directly with clients, plan new features, and translate their needs into practical technical concepts.
• Work closely with colleagues in UI/UX design and development and help prepare upcoming sprints.
• Conduct code reviews, give constructive feedback, and contribute to technical discussions about architecture, performance, and code quality.
• Maintain quality through tests and clear documentation, improve processes and deployments, and help resolve technical issues in production.

What you bring

• A completed vocational qualification in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• At least two years of experience as a full stack developer in a modern web environment.
• Very good knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Frontend experience with React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
• Confidence with Git, CI/CD, and Docker, plus an interest in clean architecture and high code quality.
• Good written and spoken German and English.
• A structured, independent, and responsible way of working.
• An interest in direct client communication and collaborative teamwork.
• Curiosity about digital trends and new technologies.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS is a plus. Knowledge of cloud environments such as Azure or experience with Python is also welcome.
